BLE Sniffer is built on a simple principle: your data stays yours. The app collects nothing about you, and this website collects only what you choose to send us. This policy explains exactly what that means.

1. The app collects no data

The BLE Sniffer mobile app ("the App") runs entirely on your device. It has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no cloud component. The Bluetooth Low Energy data the App captures — device names, addresses, signal strength, advertisement payloads, and scan logs — is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to us or to any third party. If you delete the App or clear its data, that information is gone.

2. What this website collects

This website (blesniffer.com) collects only the following:

• Contact form submissions. If you fill out the contact form, we store the name, email address, and message you provide so that we can read and respond to it.
• Standard server logs. Like virtually all websites, our server temporarily records basic request information (such as IP address, browser user-agent, and timestamps) for security, debugging, and operational purposes. These logs are not used to build profiles or track you, and they are retained only briefly.

We do not use analytics, advertising networks, third-party trackers, or social media pixels. We do not set marketing or tracking cookies — the only cookie we use is the session/security token that the website framework requires to protect form submissions. Web fonts are self-hosted, so loading this site does not send your information to any outside service.

3. How we use contact information

We use the information you submit through the contact form solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not sell it, rent it, share it for marketing, or add you to any mailing list.

4. Data retention

We keep contact submissions for as long as reasonably necessary to address your inquiry and keep a record of our correspondence. You may ask us to delete your submission at any time (see "Your choices" below).

Because the App stores no data off your device, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on its behalf. For information submitted through this website's contact form, you may request access to or deletion of that information by emailing [email protected].
